Refund policy
RETURNS
In circumstances where you, the individual customer, wish to return an item to Northern Nook, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us of your intention to return an item, and a further 14 days to send it in.
To complete your return we require proof of purchase. We may ask you to confirm your name, order number, shipping/billing address and other details as proof of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Gift cards are exempt from being returned.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. Any and all refunds that may be provided will be credited to the original payment method within 14 days.
Approved returns will be refunded less any shipping paid to Northern Nook when the order was placed.
SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
FAULTY ITEMS
If you receive faulty or damaged goods, please email us a photograph and request either a refund or replacement within 14 days of receiving the item(s).
EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email to hello@northernnook.co.uk and we’ll respond with further instructions on how to complete the exchange.
RETURN SHIPPING
Any qualifiable returns should be mailed to: 75 Old Gates Drive, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB2 5BY, United Kingdom.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed.
We suggest using a trackable shipping service or purchasing additional shipping insurance, as we cannot be held accountable for items lost or damaged during return transit.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
Please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed. If it’s been more than 14 days since your refund was approved and the funds have not been credited back to you, please contact your bank and/or credit card company. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@northernnook.co.uk.
